Overview

Boba Globe uses cookies and browser storage to keep the app secure, remember essential session state, and support optional editor preferences when you enable them. This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy. It covers cookies, local storage, and similar browser storage technologies.

Essential Cookies

Supabase authentication cookies are used to keep signed-in users authenticated, refresh sessions, protect account-only routes, and support billing and saved-project features. These cookies are necessary for the service to work and cannot be disabled from Boba Globe without signing out or blocking cookies in your browser.

Browser Storage

Boba Globe does not store optional editor UI preferences such as collapsed sidebar sections unless you enable optional editor preference storage below. Supabase client libraries may also use browser storage for authentication state. Clearing site data in your browser may sign you out or reset local preferences.

Storage We Use

• Authentication and session storage: used by Supabase to keep you signed in, refresh sessions, and protect account-only features. Duration depends on your session, browser settings, and Supabase session configuration.
• Security and feature-access storage: used to protect paid features, checkout return flows, saved projects, and account routes. These are necessary for the service to work.
• Editor preference storage: off by default and used only if you enable it on this device for local UI preferences such as collapsed editor sections. You can disable or clear this storage below.
• Stripe-hosted storage: used by Stripe on Stripe-hosted checkout and billing portal pages for payment, invoice, subscription, and fraud-prevention workflows.

Storage Details And Duration

• Supabase authentication cookies and session storage: first-party Boba Globe and Supabase session storage used for sign-in, session refresh, account routes, saved projects, checkout return handling, and security. These are necessary storage technologies. Duration depends on your session, browser settings, and Supabase session configuration.
• boba-globe-preference-storage: first-party local storage on this device that records whether optional editor preference storage is enabled. It is absent unless you enable optional preference storage and is removed when you disable or clear optional preference storage.
• sidebar-* editor preference keys: first-party local storage on this device for optional collapsed or expanded editor sidebar sections. These keys are written only after optional preference storage is enabled and are removed by the clear-and-disable control or by clearing site data.
• Stripe-hosted checkout and billing portal storage: Stripe may use cookies or similar storage on Stripe-hosted pages for payment, invoice, subscription, fraud-prevention, and billing portal workflows. Stripe controls those technologies and their duration on Stripe-hosted pages.
• Route provider requests: Flightradar24 and Google Maps Platform requests run through Boba Globe server routes when you request those features. Boba Globe does not place route-provider cookies on Boba Globe pages.

Preference Storage Controls

Optional editor preference storage is off by default. You can enable it on this device, disable it later, or clear and disable saved editor preferences. Disabling optional editor preference storage, including by using the clear-and-disable control, withdraws consent for that optional storage on this device going forward. It does not affect processing based on consent before withdrawal and does not affect cookies or storage that are needed for authentication, checkout, billing, security, or saved-project features.

Third-Party Cookies

Stripe Checkout and the Stripe Billing Portal may set cookies on Stripe-hosted pages when you upgrade, manage invoices, update payment methods, or cancel a subscription. Google or Flightradar24 requests are made through Boba Globe server routes when you request those features; Boba Globe does not currently place third-party advertising cookies on our pages.

Analytics And Advertising

Boba Globe does not currently use third-party analytics cookies, advertising pixels, or cross-context behavioral advertising trackers. If that changes, we will update this policy and provide consent controls or opt-out controls where required by law before setting non-essential storage.

We review new analytics, advertising, remarketing, session replay, personalization, or other non-essential storage before launch. That review must update this policy, the Privacy Policy, the Privacy Notice At Collection, and consent or opt-out controls where required before the storage is enabled.

Your Choices

You can manage cookies and site storage through your browser settings. Blocking or clearing essential cookies may prevent sign-in, saved projects, checkout, or billing portal access from working correctly.

If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or another legally recognized opt-out preference signal, Boba Globe treats that signal as described in our Privacy Policy, Privacy Notice At Collection, and Privacy Requests And Choices page.
